Our Story
We started Aluminum Fences Direct because the larger contractors, with their better pricing, were able to compete better for the ornamental and aluminum fence jobs leaving the smaller guys to overcharge or just not get the jobs because they couldn’t buy as low as the larger guys. The larger fence contractors were buying in volume or buying from China and assembling it themselves, whereas the smaller contractors didn’t have that capability.
We know this to be true because we had a small fencing company that we started in 1999. We ended up selling it in part, because we saw this same competition which made it very hard to be profitable. The large fence contractors had all the profit but only dropped their prices if a smaller contractor tried to get aggressive.
With our volume commitment and national coverage, we have contracted an aggressive discount structure that we’re able to forward on to you: the DIY home owner and smaller fencing contractor. Whether you need an aluminum fence around your pool or your entire property, we pass on the savings to you.
Made in the USA
Other aluminum fence companies say that they’re US companies because they ‘assemble’ their products in the US, but if you ask them where they’re buying their aluminum extrusions from OR where their powder coating is being done, in just about ALL instances, you’ll find that they’re getting it from China or Mexico.
As your official American aluminum fence supplier, we represent manufactures of ornamental fencing that ONLY buys their aluminum from US companies and assembles it right here in North Carolina, USA. Even our pool fences, arched estate gates and cantilever gates are manufactured at their plant in North Carolina from materials purchased locally. NOTE: One exception is that our new aluminum privacy panels are coming from suppliers in Ohio and California and those extrusions are coming from Australia.

While some fence providers cut costs by using cheap materials that can harm the environment, we make sure all of our fences are safe and environmentally friendly. The products are also manufactured with an Environmentally Friendly Electrostatic Powder Coating process.
This powder coating not only leaves an extremely durable and weather resistant coating on our products, it also doesn’t emit the large amount of VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) that is common in liquid coating processes that damage the atmosphere.
Our coating is guaranteed to meet and exceed the stringent performance requirements of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA-2604) against corrosion and fading, keeping your commercial, home and pool fencing beautiful and maintenance-free.
