Our new woodgrain colors for our privacy and semi-private fences add something none of our other fences can: natural color.
Previously our privacy and semi-private fences only came in Textured Black, Monument Gray, Woodland Gray or White. They made for some amazing modern designs, but understandably they don’t go with every aesthetic.
Will an Aluminum Privacy Fence with Woodgrain match my home’s aesthetic?
These new woodgrain colors are very versatile from a design perspective. The natural texture goes great with more traditional home styles like colonial, craftsman, and farmhouse homes.
Yet, its sleek shape also works with more modern styles like mid-century modern, industrial, and contemporary homes.
In short, these colors can go with anything. They enhance curb appeal, making them great for front yards. They work beautifully with landscaping and natural materials (like shrubs, hedges, and stone edging). And the whole privacy aspect makes pool areas that much more comfortable.
Does it take longer to ship an Aluminum Privacy Fence with Woodgrain colors than it does for traditional colors?
For the old colors, Textured Black typically ships in 2-3 weeks while the other colors ship in 3-4 weeks.
The new colors (Grey Walnut, Walnut, Elmwood, Natural Walnut, Dark Walnut & Grey Brown) ship in 2-3 weeks, plus 2-3 days in transit.
Non-stocked, custom colors, like White Walnut, take much longer because we have to mix it. They can ship in 10-12 weeks.
How much more expensive is an Aluminum Privacy Fence with Woodgrain?
A 6 foot-tall, 6 foot-wide, semi-private fence panel is roughly $435.00 The same panel with woodgrain costs around $462.00.
For a privacy fence, that normal 6 by 6 panel is $565.00. With woodgrain, that is $588.00.
These prices are only for our stocked colors. If you would like a custom color, you’ll have to call us for a quote.
So all-in-all, woodgrain is around 4-6% more expensive. But it is well worth it in terms of aesthetics and curb appeal. Just be sure to budget for woodgrain colors when you’re planning out your fence run.
What’s the difference between a semi-private and a full privacy fence?
Well, in a fully private fence, the horizontal slats slot into each other, so there’s no gap between them. While a semi-private fence has spacers between the slats. So you can place 3/8″, 1/2″ or 1″ spacers between the slats for airflow.
So is an aluminium fence with woodgrain worth it?
That’s up to you and what you want out of your fence.
