When we say “American,” we mean honesty, quality, and integrity. No tricks, no lies, and no loopholes. When you buy from us, you’re supporting your economy.
What makes us different from other “US” companies?
There are plenty of companies that claim their products are completely made in the USA. But most of the time, that means the products were just assembled here.
Other fencing companies buy cheap aluminum extrusions from China. Or they apply their powder coating down in Mexico. Nothing against those places, of course. We’re all just trying to make a living.
We just wish other fencing companies would be honest about it. If you’re going to source the cheapest available materials, then your potential clients should be warned.
We ONLY represent domestic aluminum manufacturers. All of our materials are purchased locally. Yeah, we probably could buy cheaper aluminum from somewhere else, but we would rather invest good money into our communities.
Made in the USA means QUALITY.
Your nice, black aluminum fence will neither fade, chip, peel, nor flake like these other company’s products. Some fence providers cut costs by using cheap materials.
Our aluminum fencing uses a very strong and durable alloy designated 6005-T5. That’s a manufacturing designation that essentially tells you what kind of alloy it is. The T5 at the end tells you it’s been heat treated, meaning it’s especially strong.
This alloy is around 98% aluminum, 1% silicon, less than 1% magnesium, and around 0.5% of trace elements like chromium and iron. That 2% may not sound like a lot, but it makes a huge difference!
The Silicon and Magnesium form Mg₂Si, which is distributed throughout the aluminum. This dispersed compound acts like rebar in concrete; it reinforces the material it is in. And those trace amounts of Chromium and Iron increases the alloy’s resistance to corrosion. Iron prevents impurities from forming, preventing the alloy from becoming brittle.
We’re keeping the USA clean and healthy.
Not only do better materials mean better quality, better materials mean a better environment. Remember when we said some fence providers cut costs with cheaper materials. Well cheaper comes at a price; low-quality materials can harm the environment.
For example, liquid coating processes can emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These compounds are carbon-based chemicals that turn into gases at room temperature. If you’ve ever gotten light headed from paint fumes or spray paint, then you’ve experienced the dangers of VOCs.
Our powder coating emits very little to virtually no amount of VOCs. Our products are manufactured with an Environmentally Friendly Electrostatic Powder Coating process.
Our coating is guaranteed to meet and exceed the stringent performance requirements of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA-2604) against corrosion and fading.
We’re also Green Certified. That means we’re recognized by Green America, an objective, third-party nonprofit, for following environmentally friendly practices. When you buy from us, you can feel confident that our products have a minimal environmental impact.
When you buy from us, you’re voting with your money to support domestic manufacturing and your local economy.
If you’re also proud to be an American, get a fence that reflects your values.
